Why Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction?

I periodically offer the MBSR course because it was a very important support for my own healing and growth and I’ve seen the benefits it’s had in many others’ lives. Considered the “gold standard” of mindfulness practices, I offer the traditional 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course that was developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center by Jon Kabat-Zinn back in the 1970s. More information about the history of MBSR is available here.
